XUV 500 is undoubtedly Mahindras fortune changer in Global market. Since its launch in 2011 this cheetah has become a sensational product from Mahindra.. This was the first monocoque and global suv from the manufacturer. Recently Mahindra celebrated 50000 land mark in just 17 months. Even though XUV 500 was a highly successful product from Mahindra, there were some issues prevailing, of which braking (spongy-noisy braking) was the main issue. Relevant sources say that Mahindra is coming up with a new braking system for XUV 500 which includes retrofitting a new brake pedal and set of new brake pads.
This new breaking system will be available with the XUVs rolling out off the plant now. current owners of XUV 500 under warranty can make this upgrade from their nearest service center.
The issues related with the multimedia infotainment system has also rectified. A facelifted version of the XUV 500 will hit the roads on 2013.
