Mahindra is working on a sub 4 meter version of the Verito.Mahindra Verito is well know for its space,ride quality and fuel efficiency.Mahindra want to capitalize more on Verito.Sub 4 meter sedan is one of the fastest growing market in India.Mahindra currently has no products to compete.Mahindra will reduce the length of verito under 4 meters in length to get the excise duty benefits.Also there will be some design tweaks from Mahindra to make the Verito more desirable.
Rear boot will be reduced to get the 4 meter under length.Rear tail lamps and bumper will also get a new design.Mahindra Verito will have the option of both petrol and diesel engine.We are not sure about the petrol model.But the diesel engine will be the same 1.5 L K9K engine.which will be matted to a 5 speed manual gearbox.Mahindra Verito will be launched at the end of March 2013.
