Aston Martin Rapide - worlds first 4 door sports car.It was in 2010,the production of Rapide started.The platform of Rapide is same as that of the DB9.The corporate grill of Aston and the bumper which is nearer to grill looks similar to DB9.But the deepness of head lamp is entirely different in Rapide.
The side looks like a streched version of DB9.The best attraction is in the rear side.The C shaped tail lamp,notch back boot and the aero spoiler near to that makes Rapide an attractive look.Rapide consists of standard 20 inch alloy wheels.
Like all other Aston Martin,the interior of Rapide is both sporty as well as luxury.Instead of gear liver Rapide consists of 4 buttons to change gear.An analog clock is fitted in center console.The front seat is arranged comfortably so 2 persons can be seated comfortably.But rear seat is not comfortable as front.Only children can be seated best in the back seat.Also entrance to back seat is a little bit difficult.Rear seat comes with LCD screens for multimedia.
Rapide comes with a 5935cc v12 petrol engine.
The power of Rapide is 477HP.Rapide consists of 6 speed touch tronic gear box.Only 5.2 second is required to get a speed of 100 km/h.The top speed is 295 km/h.
