4 Variants and 3 Engine choices Ecosport is ready for production

Ever since its launch its first appearence in 2012 Delhi auto expo, It won many hearts. Everyone wanted to know more and more about him. It belongs to a league of cars which became a blockbuster before the launch in market, Yes we are talking about Ecosport.


Last few days we haerd a lot about its market launch, what all features it wil have etc.
The official information from ford is that they gona showcase final production version in 12 selected cities in India. They also said that Ford will provide a customer experience drive for winners of Ecosport urban discovery contest, You cabn still participate by loggin onto www.ecosporturbandiscoveries.com .
Ford will gona provide 4 variants of Ecosport for India with 3 Engine options. Mainly a 1.5 litre petrol and a 1.5 diesel loader. Then the 1 litre ecoboost turbo charged petrol which is our debuter. Its capable of producing 123 break horses. The 1.5 badged is the same we seen in fiesta sedan. All  of them is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission, but the 1.5 petrol will have automatic transmission as optional.
The car shares a lot of parts with Fiesta, you can understand that if you look inside. Seating is comfortable in the front and back. Front seats ahve good visiblity like all suvs.
Rear seats are flat and cushioning add more to it. Eventhough its a sub-4-meter suv, the boot space is very decent. Qualty of interior materials is also not bad.There will be a Titanium trim which featuring Ford sync, Rear park sensor and push button start.




Since it getting all benefits of our goverments new budget norms(its under 4m and engine capacity is below 1.5 litre), Ford have the freedom for not making it pricy. still ther are roomers about price but you can expect it around 6-8 lakhs.
The launch date is not yet announced but expect it  in june after the completion of customer experience drive, Because customer experience is on May. 
soon Volkswagen Taigun will join the league to make the "SUV War" more intresting.
