BMW and Mini will rise the price of various models in India.BMW will increase the price of all the models across the range.From the BMW X1 to the BMW 7 series.Mini Models also get the price hike.Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India commented on the price Hike, “The success of BMW Group India has always been built on long-term thinking and responsible action. With the price increase BMW Group will maintain its premium positioning in the Indian luxury car segment.”
In 2013 BMW will be more aggressive with the launches.BMW will launch the Facelift version of 7 series and X1 in India.Along with the game changer 1 series.Also in 2013 BMW will start Local assembly of BMW 7 series in the middle of 2013 and also 1 series Local production to start toward the end of the year.This will help BMW to make the 1 series more affordable for the mass audience.BMW 7 series facelift is the first Launch followed by X1 and then 1 series.So the battle for the Top spot in Indian Luxury Market will heat up.
