Audi has stopped the planned electric sports car R8 e-Tron. "The project is on trial," said the companys spokesman, Christian Bangemann, "Jobs Today" (Friday). The reasons for that lack of progress, especially in the battery sector, in terms of cost and performance.
The cars had to be built actually at the Audi subsidiary quattro GmbH in Heilbronn-Biberach district. "We have produced ten vehicles, now once its over," it said at the company. In the first quarter of 2013, the framework for the project approved and subsequently on the way forward.
